Join us for the annual Ohio River Sweep, as we work to remove litter along School St. & Water St. before it enters Jacobs Creek!
 
The goal of the Ohio River Sweep is to remove litter from the Ohio River and its tributaries before it reaches the ocean. Waterway pollution is a GLOBAL issue, and this event provides a way to make a difference locally because Jacobs Creek is a tributary to the Ohio River Basin!!
 
Thanks to the ORSANCO and PennDot supplies such as gloves, trash bags, and vests will be provided and a FREE T-Shirt. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
 
PLEASE NOTE THIS CLEAN-UP IS ALONG A VERY BUSY ROAD - WE DO NOT ADVISE BRINGING YOUNG CHILDREN!!!
