Kinfolk

This story takes place during the summer of 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Having gone through the Great Depression, Alberta has been living comfortable in the North away from the family farm where she grew up in Albany, Georgia. Then along comes her younger cousin, Lucille, who has also now left the farm and need help adjusting to city life. Alberta is the one who tries to help, but Lucille only becomes more miserable, proving that leaving the farm is not for everyone.
