Andrew McConathy is the singer/songwriter from Colorado's alt-country Americana rock band, Drunken Hearts. Described as "Raucous, infectious music that skillfully navigates the mysterious & dark" (Glide Magazine); McConathy & his band have shared the stage with Mumford & Sons, The Revivalists, Billy Strings, Mavis Staples, Stevie Wonder, Black Pumas and many more. The band's latest studio effort "Wheels of the City" (2019) received international acclaim.

Platinum recording artist Bonnie Sims grew up on bluegrass music in Texas, with a professional banjo player for a father and a family band from a young age. She studied commercial music at South Plains College under Joe Carr & Alan Munde (Country Gazette) and double majored in mandolin and singing/yodeling. After graduating she moved to Colorado where she has had over a decade of success in projects with her husband, Taylor: Bonnie & Taylor Sims Band, Everybody Loves An Outlaw, Bonnie & the Clydes. Big Richard has given Bonnie the opportunity to simultaneously return to her roots and defy tradition, two things she enjoys immensely. Bonnie's first year at South Plains College was Taylor's last, and they were so grateful for that sweet overlap. They were both awarded Best Vocalist (Bluegrass: Male/Female) in the end of semester awards and the school assigned them a duet to perform -- they have been making music together since that night. After finishing school and getting married, Bonnie joined Taylor in Colorado and they began building their reputation on the Front Range in Bonnie & the Clydes while Taylor also continued for many years in his original project, Spring Creek. Playing countless live shows and festivals around CO and the Western US; tours to Germany, Canada and Sweden; multiple studio albums; exciting collaborations with other area musicians and hundreds of students through summer camps and private lessons soon followed as Bonnie & Taylor established themselves as a potent creative force of the vibrant Colorado music scene.

Multi-genre cellist Dr. Joy Adams grew up on a farm north of Spokane, Washington. Equally at home improvising over fiddle tunes or playing a concerto with orchestra, she is also a composer, songwriter, educator, and a prolific recording artist. Recent career highlights include touring with Nathaniel Rateliff, Darol Anger, performing on NPR’s Live From Here with Chris Thile, the Newport Folk Festival, Red Rocks, the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, performing at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival with Bonnie Paine (of Elephant Revival), recording cello for the Emmy award winning soundtrack to Godless on Netflix, as well as on the Grammy and Emmy award winning soundtrack to The Queen's Gambit, the Grammy-nominated jazz album With Love by Jeremy Fox, and the recent albums Red Rocks 2020 (Nathaniel Rateliff), Live From the Swamp (Half Pelican), and This Long Stretch of Gravel (John Lowell).

Joy collects hats, both literally and musically, and has performed with Bruce Hornsby, Barry Manilow, Bobby McFerrin, Chic Corea, Kenny Loggins, Ben Folds, Gloria Estefan, George Benson, Terrence Blanchard, Dave Grusin, Edgar Meyer, Darol Anger, Joshua Bell, Renee Flemming, Kevin Morby, Ley Line, Katy Crutchfield (Waxahatchee), Take 6, Hillsong United, Jonsi & Alex (Sigur Ros), Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats, the Travelin’ McCourys, Ayla Nereo, Estelle, Jayme Stone, Mark O’Connor, Billy Strings, Sam Bush, Maria Schneider, Dawn Upshaw, and Cyrille Aimee, among others.

Andy Reiner, an award-winning fiddler, singer, actor and composer, began playing at age five with the Reiner Family Band. He has since developed his own style featuring creative, rhythmic melodies and thoughtful fusing of world styles. Earning a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston, launched Andy into a flurry of touring and teaching around the globe. This included Heavy Metal with Devil in the Kitchen, Folk/Hip-Hop with FiddleFoxx, Swedish/Appalachian with Blue Moose and the Unbuttoned Zippers, Electronic/Celtic with Firecloud, and Bluegrass with The Earth Stringband, which toured Southeast Asia on the 2011 American Music Abroad tour for the US Department of State. Andy tours both as a solo artist and with groups Half Pelican featured in the soundtrack to the Netflix series Godless and The Queen's Gambit, as well as performing with Darol Anger and the Furies and Whitewater Ramble. He is also the producer and host of the "River of Suck" podcast, interviewing musicians, scientists and more. Andy Reiner is an official Yamaha Performing Artist and a Codabow Ambassador. Many of Andy's string orchestra works, fiddle tunes and songs are influenced by mountains and nature. He is also known as the "Skiing Fiddler." Andy skis every month of the year and has skied while playing the fiddle top to bottom on double black diamond runs at Silverton, CO and Mt. Baker, WA. He enjoys playing his fiddle on 14,000 foot high mountain summits with his wife and musical partner, cellist Dr. Joy Adams, of Half Pelican.

If you keep your ears open and your mouth shut, a song will tell you what it needs. It’s learning to listen that makes a musician, and in his decades of experience playing with many artists and bands on several different instruments. Charlie Rose has kept his ears wide open to find the right sound, the right part, and has had the great privilege to contribute his playing to many projects in the studio and on stage. Over the years, Rose has played a lot of things with a lot of people. Frequently called upon to fill the sonic spot no one else seems to be able to fill, Charlie has found a musical thread and woven it into the americana, bluegrass, folk, and rock and roll scenes. In the fall of 2014, Charlie released his first solo album of original songs, Stowaways. Shortly thereafter Charlie was asked to join Elephant Revival and began performing with them in 2015, and was a contributing songwriter to the 2016 release, Petals, with the song ‘Sea Monster’. Rose made the move back to colorful Colorado to help unify and build Elephant Revival's momentum in 2017.
Emma Rose is a vocalist, upright bassist, and songwriter - sought for the magic, synergy, vibrance, and mystery she brings to her solo and collaborative projects. Besides her own band (Sound of Honey), Ms. Rose is a founding father of the all-female acoustic group Big Richard, and regularly lends her talents to Daniel Rodriguez and Whippoorwill - as well as other musical projects. Emma’s music is dark, sweet, and smoky, like port and cigars next to a fire that you will smell on your clothes for days.
