Mike Jennings, COO of Tonic Audio

Mike Jennings is the COO of Tonic Audio, a remote music collaboration platform designed for musicians to store music and get feedback instantly. He makes his home on the west shore of Flathead Lake, with his partner and two dogs. While he spent much of his career in Silicon Valley, he always had plans to launch and run the company outside of traditional tech epicenters. He made Montana home in the very territory his great-great grandparents settled in the late 1870’s after leaving Ireland, and he credits them for the entrepreneurial spirit in his family and how things have come full circle in 150 years.

As COO, Mike is responsible for developing and executing the company's business plan, designing operation strategies, and handling the company's internal affairs. Prior to Tonic Audio, Mike was the Global Head of IT at Airbnb, where he was responsible for the overall strategy, implementation, and operations of internal systems and network infrastructure, business and end-user applications, security, and end-user support for 7,500 employees. 

Before Airbnb, Mike was the Head of IT at LinkedIn where he supported the company’s growth from 175 employees to over 6,000.  He holds a BS in Information Systems from the University of San Francisco.

He is proud to help run Tonic Audio out of Montana and is grateful for the ability to develop technology from anywhere and spread economic opportunity in places that seemed out of reach only a few years ago.
