15% of our door will be donated to Maryann Fisher and Ron Nix. They are residents of the Sangre de Cristo MountainsThey are in their 60’s and 70’s and have several health issues. They lost their home and all their belongings on May 8th due to the Hermits Peak/Calf Canyon fire which ravaged the northern part of our beautiful state. They enjoyed gardening outside, taking care of their 3 dogs whom are with them, living off the grid for the most part, and enjoying the simplicities that nature can provide and heal. They are now in the process of rebuilding their lives while also not putting their health on the back burner. They are appreciative from the bottom of their hearts for all the assistance they have received thus far and are living by the motto, “Strong enough to succeed!”
**NM DRAG KINGS MISSION STATEMENT**
Bringing the NM Drag King community together in a safe, rewarding, inspirational performing space to inspire brotherhood, inclusion and acceptance, IN a performing space where all performing acts (recognition of work), body positivity are welcomed with respect shown towards all groups of people in the World & of course, with the mission of being seen, recognized & respected by our own local LGBTQI community in New Mexico. We will have a monthly rotating charitable donation with 15% of door being donated giving back to our community.
