Realistic Pet Portrait Workshop
Realistic Pet Portraits - The Easy Way!
Have you always wanted to try your hand at realistic drawing but aren’t sure where to start or are intimidated by just the idea? This class is for you! In this class you will learn a fool proof method for realistic drawing and create a beautiful keepsake in the process (and a perfect holiday gift for the animal lover in your life). This virtual two week class will cover all you need to know to create any drawing with realistic proportions, shading, and texture. This class is for artists of all levels and will best suit adults and high school students.
Class Schedule:
Week 1: Image Transfer, Portportion, and Contour Lines
December 14th, 6-8pm
Week 2: Finding Value, Shading and Texture

Materials:
Bare Minimum: Required materials you will need to do this project
Ruler
Pencils
Good Eraser
Paper
Printed, black and white high quality image of your subject (a pet, animal, etc). I recommend printing as large as possible (8x10 is great) and printing a few copies.
Paper Towel
Colored Pencil
Next Level: Recommended materials that will enhance your work, but are not critical
Drawing Pencils in a range of values from 6H through 6B. We will go over the difference in these drawing pencils in class. A 2H, HB, 2B, 4B and 6B pencil would be ideal but whatever you have will work!
Eraser Pen - this is just a skinny eraser, the eraser from a mechanical pencil also works well
