Another Placitas first ... The premier, all Native American, jazz trio joins your public radio station, KUPR, in presenting another exciting live music event. Following in the steps of the Redhouse family, Jim Pepper and Oscar Pettiford to name a few Native Jazz musicians, they are legendary and you don't want to miss this rare opportunity to enjoy them right here in Placitas. Comprised of Drummer Louie Speaking Eagle, a Zacatec Indian ceremonial leader, Bassist Rob "Milo" Jaramillo from Isleta Pueblo and Master pianist Steve Figueroa (Fig), of Laguna Pueblo heritage and son of the late trumpeter Connie Figuero.
