Come and ride the rails with The Dead Line String Band from Des Moines, Iowa! Members are Nick Loffredo ( mandolin, vocals) Charlie Formaro (banjo, dobro) Bob Rice (bass, vocals) Ryan Moffitt (guitar and vocals). They started in February of 2015. Their style of music would be considered jamgrass, bluegrass, folk, rock. They cover The Grateful Dead, Moe, John Hartford, Greg Brown and many others as well as originals. They try to balance their shows with half originals and half covers. They've been privileged to play for the 80/35 festival along with some of the great music venues around Des Moines.
If your near Fairfield and in need of an event to celebrate 4/20 look no further cause you've found the spot! We have Comedian Carl Giannetto kickin' off the night with lots o' laughs ????@ 9pm and then @ 10pm Dead Line String Band will take The Depot stage for an epic night of jamgrass/dead tunes that I assure you will make this 4/20 a night to remember!
