48th Annual District Music Festival
The 48th Annual District Music
Festival will be held on Thursday, March
2, 2017, at the South Plainfield High School.
1. The concert will be performed in three short segments. The first portion of the concert, which starts at 6:00 pm, will be choral music, the second portion, which starts at 7:00 pm will be orchestra music, and the third portion, which starts at 8:00 pm will be band music. Between each segment, there will be a brief intermission where you are invited to visit the cafeteria for refreshments and shopping. Just a note: The High School Jazz Band will be performing prior to the first choral segment (Doors open at 5:15pm) and the Gems, Jades, and Emeralds vocal groups will be performing during the orchestra segment (at 7:00pm).
2. There will be a limited number of tickets sold for each portion of the program. You must purchase a separate ticket for each portion of the program that you would like to attend. The price for each ticket will be $2.00. Advance sales will be conducted through each individual school until Thursday, February 23. After that date, tickets will be available at the door only. You are encouraged to purchase your tickets during the advance sale time. Tickets will cost $5.00 per segment after Thursday, February 23. Tickets are also available for purchase online. Tickets purchased online will be delivered to your child during the week of February 27.
