Vagina Monologues 2014- Rollins College
Rollins College's annual production of The Vagina Monologues will be held on the Rollins College Campus in Bush Auditorium April 18-19, 7 p.m. each night.
Tickets are $5 for students, $7 for general admission.
The show consists of a series of monologues through the eyes of women who have undergone funny, tragic, and enlightening experiences involving their vaginas—monologues showing the audience that a woman is so much more than the sum of her parts.
All of the profits for this show will go towards amazing cuases. 90% of the profits will go to a local beneficiary in the area. This year the beneficiary is The Healing Tree at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, the leading mental health treatment program for traumatized victims of child sexual assault in Central Florida. 10% of profits go towards V-Day, a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. It is a catalyst that promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money, and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations.
