The Last Five Years

Verge Theater is excited to present Jason Robert Brown's award winning musical The Last Five Years, weekends beginning May 16th. The Last Five Years is "an emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years. The show's unconventional structure consists of Cathy, the woman, telling her story backwards while Jamie, the man, tells his story chronologically; the two characters only meet once, at their wedding in the middle of the show."

Oh, did we mention the cast for this show? Or the fact that there will be an ensemble, on stage? The last live band we had on the stage at Verge Theater was for Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and that show was amazing.
