The Detroit Change organization is hosting a "I LOVE DETROIT" poetry slam contest on Wayne State's campus. Students, community members, and poets in the metro Detroit area will tell why they love Detroit.

Winners will receive the following awards:

1st Place: $100

2nd Place: $50

3rd Place: $25

* 1st, 2nd, and 3 place winners will be invited to recite their poems on the Detroit Change radio show*

 

Admission = $3

Contest Entry Fee = $ 5
