“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” is considered one of Broadway’s funniest musicals ever written. It takes place in Ancient Rome where Pseudolus, a crafty slave, struggles to win the hand of a beautiful courtesan named Philia for his young master, Hero, in exchange for his freedom. In addition to the hilarious twists and turns of the plot, this delightful musical also features music from the legendary Stephen Sondheim.
