Omid

Omid is the story of a young boy washing cars next to the US Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, reflecting on the US military withdrawal while providing rare access to the war-torn streets of Kabul.

Legends of the Everyday, is a film and photography project created by acclaimed photographer Pieter ten Hoopen in collaboration with MediaStorm. In the films, Pieter captures the spirit of renewal, peace and serenity in the lives of the people he documents through stunning landscapes and intimate oral histories.
