Game of Throws Roller Derby Double Header Bout

The Gallatin Roller Girlz – the Bozeman area’s flat track derby league, ramping up for their first HOME event of the season – The Game of Throws, a roller derby double header on Saturday, May 9th!
Kicking off the evening, the Girlz WFTDA Charter Team, the Mountain Mayhem, will be taking on The Spokannibals from Spokane, Washington. Immediately following this bout, the Girlz B-Squad, the BoZone Brawlers, will face the Jackson Hole Juggernauts!
Armor, wielding of power, and donning the garb of the Seven Kingdoms are highly encouraged. Costumed attendees 18+ in age get first crack at limited trackside seating (aka Suicide or Nose Bleed seats). The event also features a costume contest with a prize for best dressed fan.
This family friendly event features food by Bubby’s, a no-host bar by IX, raffles, games and prizes. Half-time entertainment provided by Infusion Belly Dancers. Music by DJ Chachi.
Tickets for The Game of Throws are $10 in advance/$12 at the door – KIDS 10 and under enter for FREE! Doors open at 5pm, Bout 1 (GRG vs. Spokannibals) stats at 5:30pm. Halftime at 7:00pm. Bout 2 (GRG vs. Jackson Hole) starts at 7:30pm. After party to follow at Bar IX. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Cody Dieruf Benefit Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis – more info at breathinisbelievin.org/
The Gallatin Roller Girlz are a 501(c)3 federal non-profit and achieved WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association) apprenticeship designation this past year. The Girlz are working to achieve full WFTDA membership – allowing for ranking at the national and international level.
