"Pathway to Success Gala"

On December 3rd, 2015 - Young Leaders for Haiti is honoring several trailblazers in our community who are changing lives every single day. These nominees are not in the spotlight nor being recognize for their work. Join us in recognizing their commitments and efforts while continuing to make a difference in the places where it is needed the most. Proceeds from the event will help to finish building the school in Picmy 1 La Gonave Haiti - a community where thousands of children cannot afford to go to school. Join us for this spectacular evening on December 3rd. Tickets are only $30.00.

Our "Keynote Speaker" for that night is Mr. Max Paul, the President and CEO of the Kissimmee Campus of Med-Life Institute. Through education Mr. Paul has been giving back to the community and changing lives for many years.

Among those being honored is Ms. Amy Brandenburg, one that gives back to the community by helping women around the world through jewelry so that they are able to make a living for themselves. She also travels to many places for missionary work, including Haiti. Alongside Amy is Mrs. Gwen Covington, a recording artist has been encouraging people with her singing talents since she was a youth. She was recently involved with coordinating the Orlando Monarchs Baseball PreGame FanFest, and she volunteers annually for the African American Men Health Summit. Mrs. Covington is also one of the faithful sponsors of YLF; she constantly makes donations to help those who are in need. We also have Dress a Girl, a group of ladies from Peace United Methodist Church of Orlando who makes dresses for girls around the world. Like Jesus asked, they clothe the naked. With what they do, it prevents young girls from predators all around the world. The label indicates that someone from an organization is looking after them and that the predators will pass over them. Last, but not least, is Mrs. Jean Phillip, one that works with many and many children in the community teaching teaching their values in society. Mrs. Jean have been a part of the YMCA for a number of years and she now works at Pine Hills Elementary. She is one that loves to prepare the children for a better tomorrow, showing them how to be young men and women of integrity as well as being proud of their heritage and self value.

Please join us in celebrating the life of these pioneers all around us.
