GLT presents its Shakespearean Troupe called Ladies of the Bard
consisting of Maggie Clark, Jennifer Daly, Michelle Henderson,
co-director and producer Lee Anne Lequick, and co-director Mara
Shelton. Ladies of the Bard is an all female cast of educators who
understand the need for entertaining, fun, and educational
opportunities outside of the classroom yet also understand the
difficulties of coordinating transportation and logistics for an
entire school to go on a field trip. Thus the creation of our
Shakespearean Troupe that travels to local schools. We have had a lot
of interest from the public to see the show so we will bring the
performance to Oxford City Hall.
I Hate Shakespeare is a hilarious, fast paced introduction to
Shakespeare where audience members are allowed to laugh at the fact
that most of us don't understand it yet by the end of the show we
find they are truly understanding and are very engaged. Come prepared
to laugh as Ladies of the Bard take you through some of Shakespeare's
finest works.
