Crozet, VA- This Spring, Grease is coming to a high school near you! The

award-winning, hit Broadway show, movie, and play, is coming to

Western Albemarle in the spring of 2016! Led by the

amazing drama director of our very own Caitlin Pitts, comes the great

rock 'n' roll parody of the fifties, in which an innocent young high school

girl meets the rough, tough, gritty leader of the high school “gang” the

Thunderbirds over the summer. Grease will take place in the WAHS

auditorium on March 17th, 18th, and 19th at 7:30 pm with a 2:00 pm matinee on March 19th. The doors

will open an hour before the show time, and the show will run approximately two

hours. There will be a 15 minute intermission, during which there will be

a concession stand with baked goods.

Students and senior citizens cost $6.00 in advance and $8.00 at the

door. Adult tickets will be $12.00 in advance and $14.00 at the door.

Danny will be played by the new guy Cutter Mendenhall, who is a

phenomenal dancer, singer and actor. Sandy will be played by the

terrific Chloe Horner. Kenickie will be played by the humorous and

comedic Ben Nordbrook. Lastly, the pivotal part of Rizzo will be played

by the great Ryann Sheehy.
