2026 Virginia Statewide Founders Day Celebration Hosted by the Henrico County Alumnae Chapter of DST

With hearts overflowing with joy and roots firmly grounded in love, the Henrico County Alumnae, Beta Epsilon, Eta Tau, and Rho Rho Chapters invites you to the River City for an unforgettable 2026 Founders Day Celebration during Sisterhood Month. Come experience the beauty of our Sisterhood in Bloom as we honor our twenty-two Founders and celebrate the bonds that continue to grow and flourish.  The celebration will be held March 13-14, 2026 at the new Henrico Sports & Events Center located at 1 All Star Blvd, Glen Allen, VA 23059. All registrations for the Founders Day Celebration will be electronic and must be completed via this online platform. THERE WILL BE NO ONSITE REGISTRATION. Registration fees are transferable between financial sorors only but are non-refundable. On Friday, March 13 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, all attendees are invited to pick up your registration materials, attend the Sisterhood Welcome sponsored by the host chapters, and check out the onsite vendors.  The vendor's area will be OPEN to the PUBLIC on Friday night as well for a small fee of $10/person for guests. The attire for Friday night is Delta casual and light snacks will be provided. 

 

Saturday's attire is business and we're asking all sorors to wear purple, pants are not allowed if you are planning to attend the Rededication Ceremony.  On Saturday, registration will open at 7:30 am.  The Rededication Ceremony will begin promptly at 9:00 am and Saturday's celebration will begin promptly at 11:00 am with the dais processional.  Our Keynote Speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Gwendolyn E. Boyd, our 22nd Past National President and our Mistress of Ceremony will be Soror Dr. Sesha Joi Moon.

This year’s theme reminds us that our sisterhood continues to flourish—deeply rooted in love, service, and the vision of our 22 trailblazing Founders lives on.  This celebration is being thoughtfully planned to create moments that allow you to connect, reconnect, and blossom together as we honor our legacy and handle the sacred business of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in the Sensational South Atlantic Region. We cannot wait to SEE you in full bloom!  And what a perfect time to celebrate — during Sisterhood Month! As our petals of love and legacy continue to bloom, let us come together in the spirit of joy, unity, and purpose. Join us as we honor our Founders and celebrate the power of sisterhood that keeps Delta blooming beautifully throughout every generation.
