Concert Under the Stars
Concert Under the Stars is part of a fun-filled, family-friendly weekend in Historic Granbury, Texas, October 1-2, 2011. Gunsmoke on the Brazos, a Reenactment Guild of America (RGA) sanctioned competition will breath life into Granbury's moniker "Where Texas History Lives" as western reenactors from across the United States appear on the horizon in their 1800's wardrobe toting period correct firearms, cooking utensils, and even a covered wagon or two.
The gate for Concert Under the Stars will open at 6 p.m. Saturday with young and upcoming local preformer, Andi LaRee, taking the stage at 6:30 p.m. The Matt Kimbrow Band, whose "Kissed You In The Rain" is picking up radio airplay and impressive chart positioning throughout the region hitting the Top 25 on the Texas Music Charts, will hit the stage at 7:15 p.m. bringing his genuine lyrics and explosive vocals that are delivered from his heart and soul.
Lighting up the park at 9 p.m. with her arresting voice, firecracker wit, stunning beauty and infectious energy will be Charla Corn and the Trainwrecks. Recently named the 2011 Texas Regional Radio Music Awards Top Female Vocalist of the Year, Charla can be found on the dial at 95.9 FM out of Fort Worth where she hosts a daily radio show.
*NO coolers * NO alcohol allowed in park. Food and beverage vendors on site. Lawn seating. Blankets or lawn chairs welcomed.
