Opened by a regional Western Swing favorite, the Lone Star Troubadours, Gene Watson be performing at the Bowie Community Center on June 2nd. The show will start at 7:00pm and the entertainers have been asked to make themselves available to sign autographs and provide their merchandise.
Gene Watson's career began in the 70's and, with close to 50 singles that made it to the charts, his show always promises to many songs you can sing along with. You will easily recognize such singles as:
- Paper Rosie
- Love in the Hot Afternoon
- Farewell Party
- Fourteen Carat Mind (which made it to #1)
- Should I Go Home (or Should I Go Crazy)

Two members of the opening act, The Lone Star Troubadours, have been inducted into the Western Swing Hall of Fame and a geniune favorite by many in the Bowie Regional Area.
