Ken Double in Concert!
Ken takes pride in having performed the opening public concerts on the restored theatre organs at the Long Center in Lafayette; the Wurlitzer at Manual High School; the Page pipe organ at the Anderson Paramount Theatre; and at the Warren Performing Arts Center Barton organ, where he will appear September 9th.?
Ken Double has smoothly moved from two performing careers in his nearly 35-years on stage, on radio and on television. His broadcasting career included play-by-play work with the Indiana Pacers, Purdue Basketball, Indianapolis Ice hockey and the Indy 500, plus his four years handling the sports on WRTV Channel 6.
He is now the President of the American Theatre Organ Society, marrying his broadcast and marketing skills to his long-time love affair with the Mighty Theatre Pipe Organ. He began organ lessons at age 8; while in college played the organ for Pacers and Racers games at Market Square Arena; has performed hundreds of concerts all over the world; and has 14 recordings to his credit.
