This play features a storyline of the family's Matriarch Big Momma (Pearlie Mae Johnson) who uses traditional Sunday Dinners as an opportunity to minister to those who are consumed by their own lusts and desires. Many have allowed the temptations of life to control and dictate their behaviors, and some are on a path of destruction. As the prayer warrior for her feuding and troublesome family, Big Momma hopes that they all would one day come to the full understanding of 1 Cor 10:13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
