Leather and Laces - Home Season Roller Derby Finale

The Gallatin Roller Girlz are revving it up for their 2013 home season finale bout - Leather and Laces - taking place on Saturday, August 24 against Helena's Hel'z Belles.

The Girlz have been training hard and are excited to compete against Helena for the first time on GRG's home turf.  This is sure to be an exciting and hard fought bout.

Leather and Laces is an 80s hair band themed bout - think leopard print, spandex, air guitar and big hair. Costumed attendees 18+ are given priority for suicide seating.  This family friendly event features food vendors, a no-host bar, national anthem by the Chord Rustlers, half-time entertainment by Rocky Mountain Fireflyz, games and raffles. Music by DJ Miss Illaneous.  A portion of proceeds from Leather and Laces will benefit Gallatin Valley Land Trust.

Doors are at 7pm, Bout starts at 8pm. After party to follow at the Zebra. Pre-purchase discounted tickets available at tart (in the Emerson), Cactus Records, from any roller girl or online at www.grgderby.com. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door – KIDS 12 and under enter for FREE!  The event takes place at the Haynes Pavilion at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. This will likely be a sell out - get your tickets early!
