The Felony Free Society Dinner

1st ANNUAL  RECOGNITION AWARDS DINNER

Last year in response to the increase in violence here in Chicago, most of which was attributed to the educational, and economical state of 2 groups; low income at-risk youth, and ex-offenders, The Felony Free Society was formed. A group of people dedicated to educating at-risk youth grades 8 - 12  about the destructive effects of obtaining a Felony conviction and to steer the economically disadvantaged ex-offenders away from gaining additional felony convictions and toward self-sufficiency while promoting a Respect For Life” through an aggressive mentorship and prevention campaign. At this event we will be introducing The Felony Free Society  program, discussing  felony prevention education for youth, employment solutions for adults andex-offenders and honoring those returning citizens who have made positive contributions to the community.join us as we prepare to send more of our children to collegeinstead of prison.
