Dr. Roberto Padrós is a graduate of Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. He is Director of Prosthodontic Program at Barcelona Dental Institute, as well as Assist. Professor Dept. of Periodontology, Universidad de Sevilla. He maintains a private practice in Barcelona, emphasizing prosthodontics, esthetic dentistry, and restorative dentistry.
Achieving natural results with implant restorations is not an easy job. In order to obtain natural looking restorations, we have to pay attention to both white and pink esthetics. With all the new materials in the market, especially with all the new cad-cam materials it's easy to forget to work the pink esthetics area. To handle the correct architecture of the soft tissue we need to manage the emergence profile with prosthodontics and creativity.
For this reason, we should prosthetically drive our treatment planning and surgeries. Provisional restorations, implant connections, abutments and final restoration design and material are essential topics we will discuss in depth.
