A community event fun for all ages! The Big Sky Rodeo makes its debut at the Big Sky Events Arena in Big Sky Town Center Friday, July 19 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Gates open at 6:00pm. Food and drink options will be available for purchase, including a full bar and food truck service in the venue.
The event is developed in collaboration with Montana State University’s Rodeo team and designed for people of all ages. Fans will experience some of MSU’s finest up and coming rodeo athletes as they educate and entertain with a variety of rodeo disciplines, which include Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie Down Roping, Break Away Roping, Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding. Each rodeo discipline will feature four athletes competing in a shoot out style and a winner take all format.
Mutton bustin’ and an additional 406 Rodeo featuring miniature bucking stock ridden by junior roughstock kids will highlight the evening. Professional PBR and western sports announcer, Matt West, will be announcing the event.
Event is rain or shine, no refunds, no exceptions. All seating is first come, first-served bleacher seating.
