Congregation Beth Shalom invites you to join us on Saturday night, January 26, 2019, for a musically entertaining evening with Sam Woolf, American Idol finalist.
Sam gained national recognition as a finalist on American Idol's 2014 Season 13 where he placed in the Top 5. Sam has co-headlined with the Doobie Brothers, War, and Jefferson Starship, opened for We The Kings' shows twice, and has performed extensively at other public and private venues in Florida, where he grew up after living the first several years of his life in West Bloomfield, Michigan. He headlined Boston Arts Festival 2017 and has performed at venues such as Long Island University, Wellesley College, Providence College, and at the Opening Ceremony for the American High School Film Festival.
Sam works with Israeli musical prodigy and guitarist Orion Meshorer and others on original tracks. One of these, titled 'Stop Thinking About It,' was released September 1, 2016. It reached #1 in the Pop Music category on CDBaby.com.
Please share this exciting evening of musical entertainment with your family and friends, as the event is open to the entire community. Entertainment will begin at 8pm that night and will be at a cost of $20 per person with advance reservations. Purchase tickets at the link on this page, or call the Beth Shalom office at 248-547-7970 to respond and send in your payment. A reply on Facebook is much appreciated, but not sufficient as an advance response. Advance ticket reservations are due no later than Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the night of the event for $25 each. Refreshments will be provided.
