Charleston Swim Club's First Annual Casino Night Fundraiser

For many families in the Cherry Hill and surrounding areas, Charleston Swim Club has been the heart of summertime fun since 1965.  We provide a supportive environment for all children to learn how to swim and participate on our one of a kind swim team.  Due to our size, it is often difficult for us to cover costs of just maintaining the pool and guard staff for the season.  Not to mention all of the repairs and maintenance a pool over 50 years old requires.  This difficulty became a crisis in 2017 when our pool required a complete filtration system overhaul.  Luckily, we have a plumber as the President of our Board who was willing to donate his time for the installation.  But, the system left us with a $15,000 bill.  We are reaching out to the alumni of Charleston, the surrounding communities, family and friends to help us raise the needed funds to cover the expense of our filtration system to allow us to continue to operate and provide a home for so many children for the summer.  We simply cannot let this community treasure buckle under the financial pressures that have caused so many other swim clubs to close their doors.  We graciously request your help and invite you to join us on November 3rd for a super fun night of casino gaming.  This is a fundraiser for the club, and no money prizes will be won.  Rather, you will exchange your casino chips for basket raffle tickets.  We anticipate over 50 amazing raffle baskets for you to try your luck on winning.  In addition to purchasing a ticket, there are also sponsorship and donation opportunities available.  Please contact Lauren Thompson via email at laurenthompson@flashtaxnj.com for further information on sponsorships and donation opportunities, or general questions that you may have about the event.  We truly hope to see you there!
