Renowned children's folk duo Gemini will perform a live family concert at Beth Shalom on Sunday morning, January 28th, 2018 at 11:30am. (Please note that this is the family Sunday morning concert. An adult folk show by Gemini will also occur on Saturday night, January 27th - see bit.do/cafeshalom for that event).
Anyone and everyone is welcome, as the songs featured will be great for children of all ages. From songs about food and pets to school and family trips, each one invites the audience to sing along, clap, or follow other expressive hand movements. There will also be a variety of instruments, as the duo plays more than a dozen - including guitar, fiddle, mandolin, pennywhistle, harmonica, slide whistle, South American pan pipes, Native American flute, and percussion instruments.
Cost is $5 per adult and $3 for children ages 3-12. Children 2 and under are free of charge. Contact the Beth Shalom office at 248-547-7970 or contact bethlrodgers@gmail.com for more information.
