The USSA ProStar Series is hosting the inaugural Sprint World Cup weekend at the purpose-built Wausau ice racing oval. Qualifying and a brief racing program will be held Friday evening. Friday admission will be non-perishable food items, personal care items, etc for the local food bank and homeless shelter (watch for details). Saturday and Sunday are full race days with several classes running. Saturday features the ProStar Cup Tour race with a $5000 purse for the Pro Champ class and Sunday is the inaugural Sprint World Cup for the Pro Champ class with more than $15,000 in prize money. Entries from around the US and Canada will be in attendance.
General admission tickets (under age 12 are free) are $15 per day or $25 for Saturday and Sunday. Friday night's admission is a non-perishable food item or personal care item. A limited number of hotseats are available for $125 per person which includes your weekend admission ticket. If purchasing a hot seat package, Please remember to bring a donation for Friday night.
