Pre-registration is REQUIRED.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6-8 pm, with a Ski and Snowboard Field Session on Saturday, February 1st at Maverick Mountain 9 am-3 pm and a Snowmobile Field Session on Sunday, February 2nd on the Pioneer Scenic Byway 9 am-3 pm. Topics include: avalanche terrain recognition, the effect weather has on avalanche hazard, the development of the mountain snowpack, decision making skills, and basic search and rescue procedures.
