The message of peace and hope in the cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach is as relevant today as it was when these masterpieces were first sung nearly 300 years ago. The program includes Cantata 12, “Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen,” and Cantata 106, “Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit” (“God’s Time Is Best”).
