Curated by Mike McCready from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted band Pearl Jam, the inaugural Peak to Sky will be two days of world-class rock under the backdrop of 11,166-foot Lone Mountain in Big Sky, Montana. The July 6 concert lineup will include 2019 multi Grammy Award-winning artist Brandi Carlile followed by legendary All Star friends, Mike McCready [Pearl Jam], Chad Smith [Red Hot Chili Peppers], Duff McKagan [Guns N’ Roses], Josh Klinghoffer [Red Hot Chili Peppers], and Taylor Hawkins [Foo Fighters]. Local Bozeman-based funk rock band, Paige & The People’s Band, will open the evening’s performance.
The Friday, July 5 lineup includes an opening set by local Southwest Montana band, Dammit Lauren and The Well, followed by headliner Thunderpussy, a Seattle-based female rock and roll quartet known for earth-shattering performances. Earlier in the day, Mike McCready and Kate Neckel will perform a segment from Infinite Color & Sound - their special collaborative art and music project, in the big tent located adjacent to the Big Sky Events Arena.
Rounding out the Peak to Sky experience on July 6, famed kids musician, Caspar Babypants, will start the day with a special interactive kids and parents acoustic performance under the big tent.
