Gallatin Roller Derby celebrates our freedom to play roller derby and pursue the opponent! Join us for this colorful and patriotically themed bout, Saturday, May 20 at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds’ Haynes Pavilion. GRD’s Mountain Mayhem face off against Palouse River Rollers from Pullman, Washington. Celebrate the start of the season and Armed Forces Day with our roller derby family.
Show your colors with red, white and blue attire or flags! Dress as Captain America, the Cat in the Hat, Uncle Sam, or the Blue Man Group! Costumed attendees aged 18+ get first crack at limited trackside seating (aka the Danger Zone).
This family- friendly event features food by Bubby’s, a no-host bar by the American Legion, raffles, games and prizes.
Tickets for Red, White, & Bruise are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Kids age 10 and under enter for FREE! Advance sale tickets are available at Cactus Records and Gifts and online at grderby.com.
Doors open at 7PM, Bout starts at 7:30PM. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Thrive. Thrive provides mentoring, education and support for children and families, so that everyone in our community has the tools they need to be successful. Visit allthrive.org for more information!
This bout is part of our weekend-long Montana Melee Tournament, also featuring teams from Fernie, Canada and Fargo, North Dakota. All access passes to Montana Melee are available onsite only for $15. Gallatin Roller Derby is a 501(c)3 federal non-profit and achieved WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association) full member status September 2015. This bout is a sanctioned WFTDA bout, and affects GRD rankings at national and international levels.
