Scott Burgess Freedom Festival
Featuring Rick Trevino!

The Scott Burgess Memorial Foundation hosts the Scott Burgess Freedom Festival benefiting the scholarship fund established in memory of SSG. Scott Burgess who as killed in action in Afghanistan in 2011.

Here is a list of what to expect when you come to our festival!

  • The day starts with a 5k fun run/walk and kids 1 mile run
  • 42 domino tournament
  • Crawfish Cook-Off (yes you can buy plates of crawfish to eat)
  • Car Show with some of the best looking cars you will ever see
  • Cornhole Tournament
  • Kids Zone featuring bounce houses, an obstacle course, and a rolling video arcade!
  • Marketplace vendors and food trucks
  • Live music beginning at 11a
  • Our Street Dance where the gates open at 6p for our headliner RICK TREVINO!!
Admission during the day is free but tickets are required for the Street Dance that evening. Bring your chairs and dancing boots. No outside coolers. It is a great time to bring the family out and spend the day together helping to support a good cause!
