Creative Arts Center and Bonham Animal Shelter are back with The Hair Ball 2.0 - Big 80’s Benefit Concert! The 80's are back June 25, 2022, for our biggest Fundraiser of the year!! Tease up that hair, don your animal print, and dig out those leather pants! We're inviting you to join us for the ultimate throw-back to benefit the Creative Arts Center and Bonham Animal Shelter. The evening will be packed with LIVE MUSIC!! We are thrilled to welcome back Rock & Roll Over and Saints & Sinners. This year we will also be adding local band 78 Live! A variety of drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at our concession stand, and we will be selling chicken street tacos with all the fixins! No outside food or drinks will be allowed within the building. All activities will be hosted at the Bonham Armory Roy V. Floyd Community Center located at 1100 W. 5th St. Bonham, TX 75418. This event is for guests 21+ and IDs will be checked at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance in person at the Creative Arts Center at 200 W 5th St. in Bonham, and will be available online. This benefit concert will help keep the Arts Center’s doors open and allow us to continue offering community outreach programs including our free art therapy programs for children, teens, and senior citizens. Last year, Creative Arts Center was able to present the Animal Shelter with a check that upgraded and expanded the fenced dog run area. This year Creative Arts Center continues to support the shelter’s expansion project by sharing proceeds again. The shelter expansion is critical to save the lives of homeless and unwanted pets. By increasing the size of the building, more pets can be housed. With the ability to house more pets, time limits can be extended, giving that pet a better chance of finding a home before their “time is up”.
